Seismic Safety Remains Open to Servicing You During These Trying Times

The COVID-19 pandemic may have forced the world to pause for a bit. However, being at a total standstill is not something we, or anyone else, wants. Not only is it inconvenient, but it also isn’t ideal. Given the current state of affairs, we have taken matters into our own hands. We’ve come up with measures to ensure that our services continue to be available for you.

We’re Open and Are Happy to Service You

In light of the mandatory social distancing regulations, our office remains closed to the public. Even so, we continue our day-to-day operations. We are available to schedule appointments and take requests between 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

The Services We Offer:

  • Earthquake Retrofitting & House Bolting

We evaluate a building’s make-up and carry out structural improvements to reduce the risk of damage to it, in case of an earthquake. Our team of certified and trained professionals works to ensure that every aspect of your home’s structure is well secured.

  • Foundation Repair & Replacement

Call us if your home’s foundation has deteriorated and needs repairing. Our seismic retrofitting services span across fixing, replacing, or strengthening any foundation. If the cracks in your building seem to be growing, it may be time to have us over to inspect your home. We then jump in with our tried and tested earthquake bolting techniques to secure your home from natural calamities.

Our house bolting and bracing services extend to homes that are built on hills too.

  • Floor Adjustment

Are sagging or uneven floors bothering you? It may just be time to give your home’s foundation a lift. These problems, along with cracks on walls or sloping roofs are generally the result of an uneven foundation settlement. It is a common problem, especially for older homes.

What happens is that water from rains, sprinklers, or leaky pipes tend to collect in certain parts a building’s foundation. This results in that area of the building harboring wet soil, which reduces the structure’s capacity to bear weight. Our team of experts works to assess the best floor leveling and adjustment methods for your home.

Who We Service:

  • Property Owners

Our in-house experts work towards determining every aspect of your home. This includes the current state of your home and its underlying issues. We work with you to identify the issues that need tending to and then collaborate towards finding affordable solutions.

  • Contractors

Over the years, we have built a rapport with top-notch architects, engineers, building inspectors, and other foundation experts. We work side-by-side with them, through sub-contract work, to create structures that are protected from earthquake-prone damages.

  • Real Estate Agencies & Brokers

Our project managers are also known to work with real estate agents actively. Here, our job is to evaluate property and execute reconstruction work to improve its foundation. We also keep our clients up-to-date about the integrity and retrofit condition of a building during a sale.

We cater to both clients who are looking to buy or sell their property. We evaluate if the house is retrofitted, and consider issues that may need addressing regarding the structure’s foundation.

  • Insurance Agents & Home Assessors

Seismic Safety Inc. is also known to extend our expertise to residential property assessors and corporate-owned properties alike.

Areas We Currently Service:

You may contact us to serve you if you are set up in any of the following areas – Altadena, La Canada, Santa Monica, West Hollywood, Eagle Rock, Los Angeles, and Glendale, to name a few.

Our concerns aren’t limited to ensuring that your home is earthquake-proof. We also want to make certain that we take proper measures to ensure your safety when you hire our services during these COVID-19 times.

All our personnel at Seismic Safety Inc. are actively tested to ensure that we are all healthy.
